Steven Pinker is an experimental cognitive psychologist and a popular writer on language, mind, and human nature. A native of Montreal, he earned his bachelors degree at McGill University in 1976, his PhD from Harvard in 1979, and taught at Harvard, Stanford, and MIT before returning to Harvard in 2003. Pinker's research on vision, language, and social relations has won prizes from the National Academy of Sciences, the Royal Institution of Great Britain, the Cognitive Neuroscience Society, the American Psychological Association, and the Association for Psychological Science. He has also received eight honorary doctorates, several teaching awards at MIT and Harvard, and numerous prizes for his books The Language Instinct, How the Mind Works, The Blank Slate, The Better Angels of Our Nature, and The Sense of Style. Pinker is currently doing research on a diverse array of topics in psychology, including the role of common knowledge (where two or more people know that the others know what they know) in language and other social phenomena; historical and recent trends in violence and their explanation; the psycho-linguistics of good writing; the nature of the critical period for acquiring language; the neurobiology and genetics of language; and the nature of regular and irregular phenomena in grammar.

Yuri Danilov, PhD, is the current Senior Scientist at the Pavlov Institute of Physiology, RAS, in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He was formerly a Senior Scientist and Neuroscience Director of the Tactile Communication and Neuromodulation Laboratory (TCNL), Biomedical Engineering Department, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Wisconsin, USA. Dr. Danilov earned an MA in Biophysics from St. Petersburg University in Russia in 1978 and a Ph.D. in neuroscience from the Pavlov Institute of Physiology in 1984. He is a system neuroscientist with expertise in sensory studies, including vision, taste, hearing, and balance. Dr. Danilov is the primary discoverer and creator of Translingual Neurostimulation technology

Andrea Pokorna is currently an associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic. She started to work at the Institute of Health Information and Statistics (IHIS) of the Czech Republic where she is focusing on human resources in healthcare and support of quality of care. She has 20 years experience of in practice, policy research, and consultancy in quality management and human resources as well as in wound management in nursing care. Her previous experience includes working as a staff nurse at the Faculty hospital and teaching in different levels of nursing schools including universities and Colleges. She is the principal investigator of the project focused on National Pressure ulcer registry development.

His research focuses on the molecular regulation of cardiovascular diseases and cancers. He is one of the pioneer researchers in deciphering the role of microRNAs in heart diseases including cardiac hypertrophy, myocardial infarction and heart failure. He has published more than 200 papers in reputed journals and also presented his work at many national and international professional meetings. He is an associate editor of Frontiers in Physiology-Redox-Physiology, and Molecular Biotechnology. He has been a reviewer for more than 60 scientific journals.

My many clinical interests include anesthesia for neurosurgical patients including surgery for Parkinson's disease. I also enjoy taking care of patient who need spine surgery and abdominal surgery. I have had the opportunity of serving under privileged rural communities in my country Colombia. I am a passionate person. When I am taking care of a patient, I devote all my care, senses, knowledge and compassion and respect to them.I treat my patients as if they were members of my own family.

Hands on experience with organizing research amongst different groups all over Europe in order to fulfill milestones and deliverables of several EU and local grants; including periodic and final reporting. My scientific work includes basic research using neurons derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells to develop in vitro disease models and identify novel disease mechanisms as well as overlapping pharmaceutical targets amongst neurodegenerative diseases. As a scientific project manager I am striving to streamline research and collaboration amongst our involved partners, write scientific progress reports and ensure completion of milestones and deliverables.
